I made this work during the residency program in Taiwan. There are many LED signboards on the street, and it seems the scenery lively. Especially this flower shape signboards are used for "binran" store where sell indulgence like cigarettes. This is one of the typical sceneries there but the number of these sceneries in the center of the city is decreasing because of the redevelopment. I can not have an opinion about this situation because I am just an alien here. I can only say that it is an impressive scenery but the scenery naturally changes as time goes by. Then I made the installation representing a man (Blue LED) and a woman(Red LED) talking about this scenery as the other signs gradually turn on and turn off.
